Examples include historical exhibits, lectures, reenactments, concerts, theatrical productions, art shows, youth programs, storytelling events, and community festivals that reflect Westport’s past, present, and future.
No. Programming may also explore Indigenous history, early settlement, immigration, civil rights, artistic contributions, and other themes that tell the broader American and Westport story.
How does an organization become an official partner?
Organizations may submit a brief description of their proposed event, timing, and location, and how it relates to the 250th anniversary. Approved events may be listed on the official Westport 250 website with promotional materials.
